Why is the Baba Nakkaş Turkish Delight Set the right gift choice for corporate companies?
Turkish delight is one of the indispensable flavors of Turkish culture. Both Turks and foreigners love Turkish delight very much. Therefore, it has always been a popular and sought-after gift. Turkish delight is such a versatile gift that it can be given to anyone, at any time. As a corporate gift, Turkish delight is highly appreciated. And most importantly; the person who receives Turkish delight is certainly happy. In our Turkish delight sets, we especially use our double-roasted, Antep pistachio Turkish delights. We cover these Turkish delights with chocolate and wrap them in special cellophane. These Turkish delights go very well with coffee and are served in small dishes alongside coffee.
The main purpose behind designing the Baba Nakkaş Turkish Delight Set was to offer a different suggestion to companies looking for corporate gifts. Companies searching for corporate gifts constantly ask us to provide different corporate gift alternatives. They place great importance on the gift box. Since the Baba Nakkaş Turkish delight set has a delightful presentation with its cardboard gift box, it perfectly suits the corporate gift purpose. Companies can use it for their corporate promotions. The lid of the Turkish delight set's gift box features a metal Baba Nakkaş relief. The set also takes its name from this design. If desired, we can apply a logo with foil printing on the Turkish delight box lid. This application also provides an advantage to companies in their corporate promotions. For companies looking for corporate gifts, event gifts, or corporate promotion items, the Baba Nakkaş Turkish Delight Set is a wonderful alternative.
In the Eid gift set we designed for Kibar Enerji, we used both the Baba Nakkaş Turkish Delight Set and the Akide Glass Turkish Delight Dish Set together. We produced a delightful box to contain both sets. You can examine this set, specially prepared for Kibar Enerji, in our Design Workshop section.
Similarly, you can see the large-sized Baba Nakkaş Turkish Delight Set we prepared for TGS Yer Hizmetleri (Turkish Ground Services) in our Design Workshop section.
Who is Baba Nakkaş?
His real name is Muhammed bin Sheikh Bayezid. His birth and death dates are unknown. He was an Ottoman miniaturist of the 15th-16th centuries. He was appointed head miniaturist by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1475. According to Evliya Çelebi, he was of Uzbek origin. He introduced the art of colorful embroidery to Diyar-ı Rum. During his time, the Rumi and Hatai styles, interpreted with a new understanding at the palace, were defined as 'Baba Nakkaş style.' The ornamentation style of the Fatih period is identified with his name. He himself created the embroideries of the Topkapi Palace gate and its divanhan (council hall). There is a village near Çatalca named Baba Nakkaş Village. It is known that some of his lands were given to Baba Nakkaş as a 'dirlik' (fief) due to his service to this village. It is one of the oldest villages in Çatalca. İnceğiz and Kalfaköy are also among the oldest places from the Ottoman period.
