Does Extra Virgin Olive Oil Freeze?

Genuine olive oil absolutely freezes. However, the freezing time and freezing temperature of olive oil can vary. Its freezing can even change depending on the seasonal pressing, the climate conditions where it's grown, and the weather conditions of that particular year. Olive oil freezing does not mean it has spoiled. In cold weather, it freezes in a crystallized form, meaning as cloudy white particles. When the environment reaches room temperature, it returns to its original state. It does not lose any of its exquisite flavor. It can still be enjoyed.
