Why is the Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve the right gift choice for corporate companies?
Before the Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve, we had designed the [Link text="Efendi Cezveli Kahve Fincan Seti" url="/product/kahve/hediyelik-kurumsal-cezveli-kahve-seti"]Efendi Coffee Cup Set with Cezve[/Link]. Âlâ and Efendi are identical in terms of set content. The distinguishing factor is their different packaging. We occasionally received feedback from our customers that natural wooden packaging would be very pleasing instead of a polished wooden box. Companies in search of corporate gifts can opt for natural raw wooden packaging based on their company's image or the nature of the event. Knowing the importance of a gift box, we decided to revise Efendi and introduce a new set. This is how the Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve came to be.
The Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve includes; a copper cezve, a porcelain coffee cup, a single-serving ready-to-use Turkish coffee, and an information sheet with Turkish and English explanations. Thus, it contains all the equipment of a traditional coffee set. (On this occasion, let us remind you that the taste of ash coffee made in a copper cezve over a charcoal grill has a much different taste than normal.) With its delightful presentation in a natural wooden gift box, the Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve perfectly suits the purpose of corporate gifting. Companies can carry out their corporate promotions. The gift box lid of the coffee set features a relief. If desired, we can engrave the company logo onto the wooden box lid with a laser. This application also provides an advantage to companies in their corporate promotions. For companies seeking corporate gifts, event gifts, or corporate promotion tools, the Âlâ Coffee Cup Set with Cezve is an excellent alternative.
You can examine an example of a company logo application made with laser in the video below.
Why is water drunk before coffee?
Serving a glass of water alongside coffee is customary in Turkish coffee culture. Since coffee aids digestion and provides pleasure after a meal, water is drunk before coffee to cleanse the palate. This way, the taste of coffee can be appreciated more fully.
It is customary in our culture to always drink coffee after red meat dishes. A well-made Turkish coffee is covered with foam, and in Turkish tradition, the cup with the most foam is given to the guest or the eldest person. To ensure foamy coffee, it is necessary to choose a copper cezve of the correct size. For this reason, every Turkish family has cezve sets ranging in size from being able to make 1 cup to 4 cups.
Let us also recall an old Ottoman custom on this occasion: When a guest arrived at a house; if the guest was hungry, they would take water, and if full, they would take coffee. If they took water, the host would subtly understand this, immediately set the table, and feed the guest. The host would serve their guest with the most special porcelain coffee cup.
Where does the term 'coffee' come from?
Similar to the English tea time tradition, a time concept has also emerged regarding the consumption of Turkish coffee. It is usually drunk between morning and noon meals. The Turkish word 'kahvaltı', meaning the first meal of the day, refers to things eaten before coffee (literally 'under coffee'). In our daily lives, Turkish coffee; accompanies friendly chats, relieves fatigue during less busy hours, is indispensable in marriage proposal ceremonies, and is not well-regarded if it lacks foam. A traditional coffee cup set presented in a beautiful gift box is always one of the best gift options.
Legend has it that the power of caffeine was first understood when goats eating coffee beans suddenly began to 'dance', and Ethiopian shepherds noticed this. Coffee passed from Ethiopia to Egypt, and from there through the Arab region to Anatolia. This bean was known as ‘qahwah’. In Anatolia, its name became ‘kahve’. It passed from the Ottoman Empire to Europe with this name. Finally, in 1582, derived from the Dutch word ‘koffie’, it took the form ‘coffee’ in the English dictionary.
Many studies have been conducted regarding the smell of coffee. Smelling coffee can alleviate fatigue after a tiring day. Coffee is a concentration enhancer and also a very powerful antioxidant. It contains E and B group vitamins. Starting the day with coffee keeps one energetic throughout the day. While an average chocolate bar contains 30 milligrams of caffeine, a cup of coffee contains approximately 100 to 150 milligrams of caffeine.
Beethoven, a coffee lover, was so meticulous about coffee that he used 60 beans for one cup of coffee every time he prepared it.
