When we wondered 'What else could be different?', we realized that we had never used a coffee grinder in any of our sets until now. Coffee grinders are needed to reduce the contact of ground coffee beans with oxygen. This ensures that the flavor and aroma of the coffees are preserved. It was unthinkable for a 'coffee lover' not to have a coffee grinder. So we immediately started designing a complete 'coffee lover's set'. It had to contain everything for coffee making: coffee beans, a coffee grinder, a copper cezve, and a coffee cup and saucer for 2 people… With this content, the Grinder Coffee Lover Coffee Set includes all the equipment of a traditional coffee set.

How to brew Turkish Coffee?

To make an enjoyable Turkish coffee, one must have the right equipment:
· Wide-mouthed and long-handled copper cezve
· Porcelain coffee cups
· Finely (powder-like) ground Turkish Coffee
· Suitable water: Water that is too hard or too soft negatively affects the taste of the coffee.

Turkish coffee is generally prepared in 4 different ways. Before brewing the coffee, the person who will drink it should definitely be asked how they like their coffee.
· No sugar is added to plain coffee.
· Lightly sweetened coffee uses 1 teaspoon of sugar,
· Medium sweetened coffee uses 2 teaspoons of sugar,·
· Very sweet coffee is made using 3 teaspoons of sugar.

For each cup of coffee, put one cup of water, 2 teaspoons of coffee (5-6gr), and sugar into the cezve. Stir well, place the cezve on low heat and slowly bring it to boiling point. The slower the coffee is brewed over low heat, the more its flavor increases. When it starts to boil, distribute the foam that forms on top into the cups, boil again, and distribute the rest into the cups. Coffee is served in its unique porcelain Turkish coffee cup. A well-made Turkish coffee is covered with foam on top, and among Turks, the foamiest cup is given to the guest or the eldest person. To ensure the coffee is foamy, a copper cezve of the correct size must be chosen. For this reason, every Turkish family has cezve sets ranging in size from 1 cup to 4 cups.

Coffee is generally roasted between 204 °C and 218 °C. Roasting time is usually between 10 and 20 minutes. Dark roasted coffee beans contain less caffeine than medium roasted ones. The steam released from coffee beans after roasting and as they begin to cool contains 700 different aromas. Many studies have been conducted on the smell of coffee. Smelling coffee can alleviate fatigue after a tiring day. Coffee is a powerful antioxidant and also enhances attention. It contains E and B group vitamins.



We created this coffee set, which we produced for Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, by modifying the plates of the Grinder Coffee Lover Coffee Set. We printed the institution's logo with foil on both the top lid and the inside of the lid of the cardboard gift box.

Logo application on the cups or plates of coffee sets is always desired. It is a sign of seriousness and elegance when institutions serve coffee to their guests. And if the institution's logo is suitable for the porcelain plate, we can achieve very pleasant designs. We applied the logo of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences to the coffee plate using the sandblasting method, and this elegant cup set emerged...
