The Çeşm-i Bülbül glass technique is an impressive production method unique to Turks. Glass objects are rotated under light, creating iridescence like a nightingale's eye when brought closer to and moved away from the eye, hence these types of designs are named Çeşm-i Bülbül, meaning Nightingale's Eye. Glitter paint with gold embellishments has been used on the rims of the glasses. The pomegranates and apples are produced in traditional blue and (additionally) in orange.
